Only a handful of clinic dates this season.

The same waterfront clinic

Private, practical support from the same waterfront clinic.

This isn’t a faceless online program. You’re seen in person, on the Halifax waterfront, by a nurse practitioner, with our pharmacists close by to support you between visits. Quiet, unhurried, and grounded in real care.

Your visits are led by Daniel Harrison, NP, a board-certified nurse practitioner with 8+ years in internal medicine, with support from Cunard’s dual-certified diabetes and obesity educator pharmacist between visits.

Why Cunard

Unhurried care, close to home.

Nurse-practitioner-led care

On select clinic dates, an experienced nurse practitioner leads your visit in person, assessing you, building a personalized plan, and prescribing weight-management medication when it’s clinically appropriate.

Dual-certified pharmacist support

Between visits, our dual-certified diabetes and obesity educator pharmacist helps you manage your medication, watch for side effects, and stay on track. A local team you can actually reach, not a faceless online service.

Local and accountable

We’re a real clinic on Lower Water Street, not a call centre. You’ll always know who you’re speaking with.

No long sales funnel

One call back, one honest conversation. If it’s a fit, we book your visit. If it isn’t, we’ll say so.

Local, not online

Care you can see in person.

A real, in-person clinic

Not an online form that mails you a prescription. You’re seen in person on the Halifax waterfront, by the same team that dispenses and supports your care.

No long program to join

No referral, no waitlist, no year-long program. You meet the team, ask your questions, and decide, on your terms.

Questions

A few things people ask.

Who will I see?

An experienced nurse practitioner, Daniel Harrison, NP, leads your visit, with our dual-certified diabetes and obesity educator pharmacist supporting you between visits.

Can the nurse practitioner prescribe medication?

Yes. Nurse practitioners in Nova Scotia have full prescribing authority and can prescribe weight-management medication when it’s clinically appropriate for you.

Do I need a referral?

No referral is needed. Request a call back or book directly, and we’ll take it from there.

Do I have to fill my prescription at Cunard?

No. You can fill any prescription at the pharmacy of your choice, though our team is right here if you’d like us to.

What if this is not the right service for me?

Then we’ll tell you, and where we can, point you toward a more suitable option. There’s no pressure to proceed.

Good to know

A weight-loss clinic, not an emergency service.

This is a nurse-practitioner-led weight-loss clinic on select dates, for booking and questions, not for emergencies or urgent medical concerns. If this is an emergency, call 911 or go to the nearest emergency department.

Please don’t include medical details. This form is for arranging contact only.

Limited dates
